Public strikes, again!
Good Morning
So we are hearing news about protestors going out to the streets again, in Al Khaboora specifically. As I heard their requests are to get jobs in the Governmental Sector (Not the private one) and some are asking to erase bank debts.
Do you think the protestors are being reasonable? Is it not enough what the government has already given?
What do you think of the continuous requests of erasing bank debts of citizens?

Debts that's a bit extrem..
Some did take loans just for fun and some really needed it for medical issues..
I don't think it's a good idea to pay all the debts it won't be fare..

Thank you for the topic !!!
its been long time since last time I posted here
Anyway
I would like to bring your attention to some small mistakes here
First of all the title : There is no word in English called " Protestions" , you can say " protests" or use the word "strikes" or " demonstrations" instead
The other mistake in using the proper vocabulary, like the one you use to describe forgiveness of bank loan" as the word Erasing" is not good English
The other mistake is in vocabulary too
some you said there "their requests" but the correct one is demands" which is the correct one to be used in demonstrations or protests
Here is another mistake here in vocabulary
"protestors going out to the streets again"
You can say "going down streets"
The other mistake is the way you asked this question
Do you think the protestors are being reasonable?
Hmmm
You can't say than anyway
You may ask this way :
Do you think protestors were reasonable?

Back to topic
I think since we are in rich country we shouldn't see protests like these or hear news that there are poor people with population not exceeding 3 millions
you are wondering isn’t enough what the country has already done?
What you are talking about??
Jobs or 150 per month for jobless people
Excuse me , if you are Omani I don't think you will ask this question but I will answer you
More corruption and more taking disadvantage from power that what we see
Many people complains that there are still joblessness and government is not able to give them jobs
Jobs are there but not from Omani youth specially in private sector
Government employed more females than males , which is drawing big question marks from this behaviour
Other thing , Indenizing senior jobs government is not able to do anything in this case. Many qualified Omani people are in the street taking there CVz and they responded by Sorry , No vacancies "
"Forgiving personal loans" government is capable to do that but not in society full with envious peope who objected that showing black hears full of hate and gurdge
We will not move one step forward, in contrary we are going backward
One day the government will wake but when it is too late

Well said I absolutely agree with you dear
We supposed to be a relaxed satisfied nation in terms of jobs and government support because we have a lot of natural resources oil, gas, minerals, agriculture and tourism a complete package of a potential world class developed country. Moreover, we have a well educated youth reached a very high standard of education and very knowledgeable comparative to the rest of neighbouring countries. However, we are not been treated equally and fairly.
