Very nice article and touchy. Totally agree, nurses have to be cold-hearted, sometimes, in order to carry on their jobs in a systematic manner.

but I have to say this kind of job has started to lose some of its spirit because some of nurses don't pay attention to the patient.

Just a comment about "some nurses don't pay attention to the patient"
Am sure there should be a reason, sometimes the nurse is taking more than 9 patients in one shift so imagine everyone is calling and some patient or there relatives if u tell them just wait for few minutes then they will start to shout and be angry and that's when they will say nurses don't pay attention.
Nobody will know the situation only the nurses knows how much they are working under pressure and tension.
