Firstly, thanks for opening this thread.

I don't know if this is the right place to share with you my story. Honestly, this story with its memories backs me 9 years when I was in grade 10. I'll try my best to summarize this story as much as I can.
After I've finished grade 9 & after spending 9 years in one of the school, it was a must for me to move to another school because my first school was only for 1-9 grades. Therefore, I've moved to a new school & everything was going well & smoothly for me expect with my math teacher. For the first time in my life, I've experienced the fear that I'm going to fail in math that year, I've doubted myself & my capability to pass that year. This math teacher always was mocking every student in my class because most of my classmates were new comers to that school & he always said

At that year, a new grades, marks, system has been introduced for the first time that 70% of marks are with the teacher & the remaining is for the final exam. This system was a huge hurdle & problem for me with this teacher! This teacher when he made a short test it was like a final exam & it was only for 10 minutes with one question & what question? His questions were very complicated & he sometimes challenged us by letting us free to open whatever we wants, books or notes, & solve the exam in a group of two! However, his exams were beyond our levels! I remembered one time he said that everyone got zero on the short test & other time he said that some got some marks! After the first semester, he told us that everyone got less than 80% & nobody exceeded this mark. However, then he asked us who did get more 90% or 80%?! I was the only one in the class who got in 80s & when raised my hand that I got in 80s, he was suspicious about me thinking I was a cheater! From that time in most of the short test, he was closely monitoring me!!! This teacher his mouth was dirty & I was shocked when I heard him talking with such words in one of the occasion when he was mad about one of the student!


It is true that this teacher is not a good example & I'm not here to distort the picture of the teacher. However, this teacher through his behaviors made me study hard in math & from that moment I'm falling in love with math. I've challenged myself in that year & I proved for her, myself, that I can do it. This teacher I'll never forget him! It seems the story is very long but hoping it has some useful lessons. It is true that moments last for short period but my moment lasted for one year.

Graduation ceremony like it was yesterday

I still remember when I was young I traveled to UK on

English language course. I resided with family, but I could not adapt to

the meal timings as you are aware that British families are specific to

certain times for daily meals. However, their new arrival which was me

always late for meal timings particularly dinner which was being served

at 6 o'clock in West Yorkshire, at this time in Summer when the sun

was still shining I am still outside the house playing football with some

friends in the park.

Therefore, family members have to have their dinner without leaving

me some so I have to go to the town center to search for food and

always go to McDonald's though I was young and my English language

was not that good, but I was self-dependent in many situations and

learned how to use the underground tube in London without help.

After I finished the course I went to a travel agency and booked a

ticket to Morocco in tour group most of them were British, I stayed

there two weeks and came back to London and then return to Oman.

They were unforgettable memories and still come to mind. In spite of

my young age but I dealt by instinct and benefited a lot from this experience.

I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realizes an emotion at the time.
It expands later, and thus we don't have complete emotions about the present, only about the past.

My memorable moments:

My first 3umrah. It's out of this world. It can't be possibly put in words!

The graduation moment. Everybody was extremely happy except me. I had to force
a smile on my face for the sake of mum and dad.

When my young aunt died and I went through weird period between denial and disbelief.

The moment when my uncle and I fought verbally when he caught me speeding 160. It was really ridiculous but I was really mean when I shouted at him. He was touched. I was totally stupid and inconsiderate!

That day when I wrote a goodbye letter to somebody.

The first time I scratched my car. It was EMBARRASSING lol

When my brother got seriously sick and
everybody at home was so sad. They were
tough days.

Ok, I'll share a tender one

One of my memorable moments happened to me at a very young age. At age of five, I was living with my
grandmother in a village outside the geography of Salalah. Somewhere where cars pass through difficultly.
In her early age, she was a goatherd, but as she grew old she couldn't attend to them anymore ,so she kept few, around
twelve. Every morning, she used to wake me up, prepares light breakfast for me and asks me to go with the goats and
join them with another goatherd who was a man. That goatherd awaits my arrival nearby the shore. When my goats
see his flock of goats, they just communicate and they all join together as a massive flock of goats
So they go together into the wilderness and I return home. They come back around five or five thirty at the evening.
when they come they automatically know
where they live so they come right to my grandmas' house.
Now these are memorable memories..

- i remember the days when i used to come back from school at 2, eat lunch quickly and then climb the back wall of my house to runaway swimming in the falaj or in the farm pool with cousins!
- the days when i had to climb mango trees with friends to enjoy that amazing taste when we mix the harvest with

- the days and nights i spent outside home playing with sand, swimming in sand indeed and fighting so innocently with friends.
- the days when i hated growing up coz i had to leave behind everything i loved about childhood and work hard to prove my academic skills
- the years i spent in a hostel far from home with new friends!
- the day when i had to say a painful FAREWELL !
- the days i lived so stupidly! i dunno if i'm supposed to wish to delete them from my memory or not!
- the day when i firstly put a delicate ring in my finger

the memory which i leaned from it is the sickness of my mother
i was in the third level at university when my mom fall down on the ground
our home changed as if earthquake hit our home
our life is changed and i have to bear the responsibility of my brothers and sisters cause i am the oldest girl
it clot that happened to my mom
these horrible memories , i can not forget them
in spite of every thing i learned that to be more logical with events of the real life
anyway i wish no one see what happen to us
and Allah protect each mom in the world

And here one of my tragic story

Once when I was around 5 to 6 years I went with my family for shopping preparing for the Eid. We entered one of the shop & my eyes had fallen on, admired, one of the short there which has a falcon logo (what a taste I had at that time ). I asked them to buy that short for me but they didn't buy it for me
When we returned home I showed them the short (magic ha )
They refused to buy it for me, so I wore it under my dishdasha after they left me staring to that precious short

Tragic story, isn't it?
I donna know how to face my grandsons telling them this story (they'll be proud of me )
